Delancey Burial Ground
Directly left of the Palmer Ave @ Delancey Ave bus stop
Brief History

This was chosen as the site in 1806 for the burial of Maria Frances, the De Lancey’s thirteen-year-old daughter who died accidentally. The names of those interred here, as well as which stone belongs to them, can be viewed on the sign by the cemetery entrance.
Renovations

An unmarked grave was discovered during the restoration of this burying ground by the Mamaroneck Historical Society, which conservationists believe belonged to a favored enslaved person.
