The Mamaroneck Historical Trail

Our mission is to raise awareness about the history of slavery in Mamaroneck, NY, through an immersive and completely self-guided walking trail. Spanning three centuries, the Mamaroneck Historical Trail follows the footsteps of the enslaved and prominent families during that time. View the two trail options below!

Trail A

Beginning at the Delancey Homestead and ending at the Mamaroneck Public Library, this trail covers the local history of enslavement in Mamaroneck spanning over three centuries.

Trail B

Though much shorter than Trail A, this trail covers just as much history, including a few names that you may already know!
