Part 2: Preserving History: Can Our Historic Burying Grounds Be Saved?

Join Mamaroneck Village Historian, John Pritts, and Southampton Village Historian, Zachary Studenroth, as they explore the history and preservation of the DeLancey family burying ground. Learn about the DeLancey family in our founding and development as a community, their contributions and controversies.  Learn about the preservation process and the significance to our community.

Zachary Studenroth, a partner in the non-profit Burial Grounds Preservation Group, Inc.www.bgpg.org,  has a BA in Art and Architectural History from Middlebury College and an MS from Columbia University School of Architecture and Planning, Division for Historic Preservation. Zach specializes in historic structure reports, cultural resource surveys, and burying ground assessments, conservation treatment and programming. 

A portion of the proceeds of this event will be donated to the Mamaroneck Historical Society.
