The Mamaroneck Public Library, the Mamaroneck and Larchmont Historical Societies and REALM (Recognizing Enslaved Africans of Larchmont-Mamaroneck) invite you to join us on Zoom for two one-hour programs on Slavery in Mamaroneck
Session #2 – Wednesday, February 17, 7:00-8:00pm
We will focus on the enslaved people of Mamaroneck and what the records reveal about them.
The Presenters: John Jay College Professor Ned Benton, Co-Director of the New York Slavery Records Index; and John Pritts, Mamaroneck Village historian and Co-President of the Mamaroneck Historical Society. Ned and John are members of REALM, a group working to recognize the contributions of enslaved Africans in the development of Mamaroneck Township.
